Mom's Thanksgiving Sausage Stuffing Single batch recipe
Ingredients 2--12oz box of Bread Stuffing 1--Tbsp of Bell's Seasoning 1 bunch of celery 2-3 Large yellow or Vidalia onions 1 Jimmy Dean Mild Sausage Tube 1 Jimmy Dean Hot Sausage Tube 2--14oz cans whole cranberry sauce 1.5--2 sticks of unsalted butter Salt & Pepper to taste 1 tsp Garlic Powder 1 bag of whole cranberries (do not chop) 1/2 bag chopped walnuts 2 eggs
Directions Melt butter. Add chopped celery and onions. Mix until soft.Add salt, pepper and garlic powder while softening. Put items into a separate bowl.
Brown both mild and hot sausage. Drain fat. Mix veggies and sausage well. Add all other ingredients. Mix well. Add both eggs. Mix well.
Let cool and foil and refrigerate overnight. Bake at 325 for 35-40 minutes.
