What is the Bar-Line Shift?

PhDJ & The Bar-Line Shift by Amanda Cadran
Picture

So glad you asked!

The Bar-Line Shift brings you a lovingly curated weekly show, typically thematic, that will weave standards in jazz, funk,
disco, jam and soul music with the new and obscure
(not to mention lots of genre-benders).

With a focus on international artists, The Bar-Line Shift makes a point to bring you music that may be new, but feels just like what you love. Now more than ever, let music connect us.

Go deeper into the scene with interviews from musicians and the people who make the industry work: Producers, crew, venue operators and others who have stories to tell. Listen from wherever you are and let us know what you want to hear and
who you want to hear from; we’ll either make it happen
or have quite a bit of fun trying.

Listen live: Wednesdays 9-11pm EST
