I’ve been eating this cheese ball every year for the holidays for as long as I can remember!! My mom has been making them since I was a child. Makes two cheese balls.
Ingredients 2 8oz packages cream cheese, softened 1 8oz brick of Cracker Barrel extra sharp cheddar cut up into pieces 2 4oz packages of crumbled blue cheese 1/2 a small onion diced up 1 1/2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce 1/2 tsp cayenne 1 1/2 cups chopped toasted pecans 1 1/2 cups finely chopped parsley
Directions Mix everything but the pecans and parsley in a food processor until it’s real smooth. Add 1 cup of the pecans and a 1/2 cup of the parsley and mix a little more in the food processor. Split it into two bowls and stick them in the freezer for about 15 or 20 minutes until it firms up.
Mix the rest of the pecans and parsley on a plate, and then roll the two cheese balls in it to coat the outside real good. We love to enjoy it with Chicken in a Biskit crackers. If you don’t know about them, they’re the best snack cracker ever on earth!
