My friend Jordan Swiler is the head chef at Lurcat in Minneapolis. He showed me this and its super simple. The only thing I might mention is that I use Pink Lady apples and I find them to be the best, but it is your preference. Also, as it is mentioned, its important to rub the apples in a little lemon so that they do not brown. Super simple, quick, delicious, affordable. And people with think you're a hot shot.
